Home and Away spoilers: Brody has devastating news for Ziggy

Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) has finally started to move on from the slump Brody (Jackson Heywood) left her in after ending their marriage to be with Simone (Emily Eskell). Thanks to Dean’s (Patrick O’Connor) support, she’s been working on a car to get it back on the road, and their friendship is stronger than ever.

However, her mood drops when she gets a text from Brody saying they need to talk. She tells Dean how much it hurts that Brody is selling Salt for Simone, as he wouldn’t even leave the place to spend his lunch break with her when they were together.

The next day, Ziggy bumps into Brody, and he insists they need to meet and discuss the terms of getting divorced. The reality of properly ending the marriage leaves Ziggy reeling.

When they meet, Brody tells Ziggy that he wants to split their savings and assets 50/50, but she’s not having a bar of it, saying she doesn’t want his money and he needs to just leave town.

Ben (Rohan Nichol) urges Ziggy to hear him out, saying that the money could really help with setting her up for the future, but Ziggy says she had no control over the end of the relationship, and she doesn’t want to have no control over the final decision as well.

Meeting with Brody again, an emotional Ziggy tells him that the only thing she wants from him is the life they promised each other – the one they’ll never have now that he’s with Simone. Brody admits that money will never make up for what he’s put Ziggy through. Will the pair manage to come up with a divorce deal, or will it get messy and have to go through the courts?
